Overview

Glitch is a puzzle game developed and operated as a sole trader / independent developer. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used.

Data we collect

Glitch collects the following data:

Anonymous player identifier — When you first launch Glitch a random identifier is generated on your device and stored locally. This identifier is not linked to your name, Apple ID, email address, or any other personal information. It is used solely to track your position on the daily challenge leaderboard.

Random nickname — A randomly generated nickname such as "SwiftFox42" is created on first launch and stored locally on your device. This nickname appears on the daily challenge leaderboard. You did not choose it and it does not identify you personally.

Daily challenge scores — When you complete the daily challenge your anonymous identifier, nickname, score, and number of levels completed are submitted to our leaderboard database hosted on Supabase. No personal information is attached to this submission.

Game statistics — Your high score, levels completed, and best streak are stored locally on your device using Apple's UserDefaults system. This data never leaves your device.
